To grow community based initiatives, strengthen our downtown cores, and make our neighbourhood safe.
My Three Pillars
I grew up immersed in our local youth sports leagues such as Cambridge Minor Hockey, Cambridge Minor Softball, Cambridge Youth Soccer, and volunteering at the Galt Minor Hockey School. These leagues are a core aspect of our community and help our youth stay off the streets.
I have grown up in a family that has operated small businesses in Cambridge for over twenty years. I know the needs of small business owners and will work to help them prosper. We must clean up the downtown cores and bring those areas back to life.
Community safety is an ongoing concern in our city. I regularly see posts about houses being broken into. People are afraid to walk in our downtown cores. Needles being left in parks. These issues need to be addressed and people need to feel safe in our city.
“It is time for the next generation to take initiative and help lead our community.”
Who is Cole Boland?
I am a proud graduate of Western University. I started at Western upon graduating from St. Benedict C.S.S. in 2012. I have a four year Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, Information, Technoculture. I then attended Western’s Faculty of Education and obtained my Bachelor of Education.
While in school I used my summers to obtain my real estate license in 2015. Since then I have been working at my families brokerage here in Cambridge.
Upon graduating with my Bachelor of Education I was hired by the Waterloo Region District School Board where I currently work as an Occasional Teacher.
In my spare time I enjoy playing music. I have always been a supporter of the arts as my father was in a local band for twenty years. I enjoy playing guitar and piano with family and friends in my spare time.
